Domain Monitoring Analyst

We at Abion, an international IP powerhouse with grand ambitions, are currently seeking a motivated Domain Monitoring Analyst to bolster our Online Brand Protection team. This position is available in either our Italy or Malta offices.

What You’ll Do – Responsibilities

As a Domain Monitoring Analyst in the Online Brand Protection team, you’ll utilize cutting-edge software and innovative open-source research techniques to detect, analyze, and report potential threats to our clients’ domain name portfolio.

We’re looking for a digital-savvy, positive-minded professional eager to contribute to our team’s growth in a dynamic, international setting.

• Review domain names identified by dedicated software.
• Employ various software tools and online research techniques to analyze domain names, investigating potentially fraudulent activities.
• Evaluate risk levels based on predefined criteria, effectively determining the threat to brand integrity.
• Analyse extensive datasets to identify trends or patterns of interest to our clients.
• Create and deliver comprehensive reports on identified domain name threats using dedicated software.
• Communicate and collaborate with IP Counsels and other teams within Abion to ensure alignment with the customers’ brand monitoring strategy.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in domain monitoring and provide recommendations how to continue to improve our processes.
• Provide exceptional service to customers and colleagues.

Who You Are – Qualifications

• A University Degree.
• Possess a technical mindset and solid proficiency in Microsoft tools.
• Demonstrate exceptional digital analysis skills including the ability to navigate and utilize a variety of software platforms effectively.
• Fluency in business English, both written and spoken.
• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines effectively, even under pressure.
• Embrace a structured, detail-oriented approach, with a drive for optimizing processes.
• Familiarity with domain registration processes and domain name system is a plus but is not mandatory.
